MTECH

MTech stands for Master of Technology. It is a postgraduate course in various specialisations of engineering. The admissions to this course is made on the basis of various state-level and national-level entrance exams. Fees Structure

The cost of pursuing Master of Technology varies across government and private engineering colleges. Private universities charge higher fees for MTech programme rangining between INR 2- 6 lakh per annum. Government colleges charge comparitively lesser fees ranging between INR 1-3 lakh per annum.

Eligibility Criteria for MTech
The basic eligibility requirement for admission to MTech programme is:

• Candidates who have completed their BE/BTech degree with a valid score in GATE are eligible for MTech degree course.
• Candidates who have completed a 5-year program in Science or Applied Sciences resulting in the award of a Master of Science degree are also eligible for Master of Engineering course.
• Admission is based on rank obtained in the entrance test conducted for MTech.

MTech Distance Education

MTech distance education is a two-year post-graduate program for students who have completed a bachelor's degree in technology from a recognized university. The MTech online learning program replaces traditional classroom instruction. Distance learning education students study through online lessons.
